The value of the digital technologies for economy was discussed at the strategic session "Modern science parks - the foundation for economic growth", held in Khanty-Mansiysk within the framework of the VIII International IT Forum with the participation of BRICS and the SCO countries. They started discussing models of attracting talents. One option is to search them in other regions, countries. In the opinion of participants in the strategic session, it is related with significant risks. The fact is that it is difficult to get them to stay. A promising approach is to create and grow our talents. What is the best way to do it? This was the primary topic of discussion for the experts.

"First and foremost it was the involvement of young people (not only students, but also children) in the system of implementation of scientific and technical creativity, system of popularization of engineering professions and IT professions. Regarding infrastructure, the experts discussed the types of science parks and their development model. Lead Innovation Expert and Advisor of the World Bank Peter Lindholm presented an analysis of the two types of science parks.

The first type — parks, developing on the basis of current science and technology, human resources. They are focused on the development of start-up companies, the involvement of young people, and the creation of subsidiaries by universities or anchor residents, and promotion of entrepreneurship.
