On behalf of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control I would like to welcome organizers and participants of the IX International IT-Forum and the First International Conference on Information Security “InfoForum Ugra” with participation of SCO, BRICS and CSTO countries. Such international events account for stable and permanently growing interest of Russian and foreign professional and business community to the development of IT industry and solution of information security issues.

The Region with developed fuel and energy sector in Russia will become a platform to discuss key issues in security of critical information infrastructure.

Issues of design of information security systems for multiple purposes and of different levels, protection of information in automated systems of production and technological process management and training of experts in providing information security for individual facilities become more crucial under growing threat of computer attacks.

High level of representation, friendly business environment, rich program of activities create a unique opportunity for the participants to share experience and exchange views on a wide range of key security issues in business cooperation.

Hope that IT Forum and the Conference “InfoForum-Ugra” will integrate efforts to determine ways to solve information security problems at existing enterprises, to reach agreements on cooperation in the field of information security and set the milestone for further international collaboration in the field of information security.

I which the best of success to organizers and participants in fulfillment of designated tasks.
