Welcoming Remarks of the Head of the Scientific and Technical Service of Russian Federation Federal Security Service, A.A. Fetisov

On behalf of the senior officers and experts of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation I would like to welcome participants and guests of the IX International IT Forum and the I International Conference on information security “InfoForum-Ugra” with participation of SCO, BRICS and CSTO.

The Conference “InfoForum-Ugra” organized by the National Forum on information security “InfoForum” supported by the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Security and Anti-corruption, Central Office of the Federal Security Council of the Russian Federation and the Government of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra, is a representative and established event, where the experts from different countries could not only discuss topical issues of international information security, but exchange experience and proposals.

Importance of the Conference is determined by rapid development of IT accompanied with new threats to information security, which are an integral part of the national and international security threats. Accordingly, our experts pay great deal of attention to the issues discussed here.

Reliable operation of information resources, management and communication systems plays a special role for stable development of each country and international community, as a whole. It is worth mentioning that cooperation in information security issues are important in SCO, BRICS, CSTO and EAEU formats, and legal support system development for information security on national and international levels as well as security and trust at transborder electronic interaction, and counteraction to illegal activities in information sphere.

I am confident that this conference will contribute significantly in security of information spaces in our countries. I wish the participants fruitful work, pragmatic discussions and practical results aimed at strengthening the information security.
