Final plenary session of the X International IT Forum took place in Khanty-Mansiysk
X International IT Forum ended with a plenary session with participation of Deputy Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra Alexei Zabozlaev, Head of the Information Technologies and Communications Department Sarika Guliani (India), Nadezhda Suvorova, Director of the Institute of Management and Social and Economic Design of Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov, Co-chairman of the Organizing Committee of the National Information Security Forum Infoforum Boris Miroshnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Intergovernmental Council and Chairman of the Russian Committee of the UNESCO Information for All Program, Evgeny Kuzmin, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for the Development of Information Technologies and Digital Economy Nikolay Komlev, Director of the Department of Public Administration of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Federation Pavel Malkov, Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire Abdallah Mabri and Director of the Macro-regional Office "Ural" of PJSC "Rostelecom" Sergei Gusev.
Deputy Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra Alexey Zabozlaev welcomed participants. He thanked experts and guests of the IT Forum for active participation in the event and invited all present to the next XI International IT Forum in Ugra in June 2019.

For our country it will be useful to develop in this area.
Summing up the results of the IT Forum, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on Development of Information Technologies and Digital Economy Nikolai Komlev noted that now it is extremely important to pay attention to the problems of IT education in Russia. "In the twenty-first century children should study computer science deeply enough at school and with a wealth of knowledge to pass the exam on this discipline, to enter the university. We insist on increasing number of hours of computer science at schools. In addition, we should increase number of budget places on IT specialties in universities," Nikolai Komlev said.
Co-chairman of the organizing committee of the national information security forum "Infoforum" Boris Miroshnikov thanked the participants of "Infoforum", which was held within the framework of the International IT Forum. "Such joint work of the SCO and BRICS countries is a necessary measure for improving information security system," the speaker said.
Deputy Chairman of the Intergovernmental Council and the Chairman of the Russian Committee of the UNESCO Information for All Program Evgeny Kuzmin outlined the main challenge of our time regarding the preservation of electronic security. "We already know how to save analog information in catalogs, libraries, museums. Era of electronic information has begun now, and we must understand how to preserve it qualitatively."
Director of the Department of Public Administration of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Pavel Malkov reminded the experts that the Ministry of Economic Development started to collect proposals on the concept of a new law, which deals with provision of public services. "Many new e-services and services in the field of public services have appeared in recent years. It's time to register and settle all the nuances in the legislation. We plan to make the main emphasis in the document on optimization of internal processes," Pavel Malkov said.
Director of the Macro-regional office "Ural” of PJSC "Rostelecom" Sergei Gusev urged IT experts to take decisive action to implement information projects. In his opinion, the region and the country have all the components for success: experience, understanding of people and officials, desire of a large number of investors to participate in implementation of the project.
In the final of the plenary session, the ceremony of awarding the UGRA IT AWARDS prize was held. The award was presented to the Federation of Indian CCIs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, LUKOIL-Western Siberia Company, the organizing committee of the International Conference on Information Security with the participation BRICS, SCO, CSTO and other countries Infoforum-Ugra, PJSC Rostelecom, Russian Committee of the UNESCO Information for All Program.
After that, "Infoforum-Ugra 2018" prize was awarded on the stage of the Forum. The awards were presented to Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Natalia Komarova, Chairman of the Association of Cloud Security (CSA) of China, China Electronics Corporation Fan Binxing, Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation on International Cooperation in Information Security Andrei Krutskikh and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cybersecurity Agency of Malaysia General Tan Sri Dato Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed.
