Yugra preparing for holding of the International conference on information security “Infoforum – Yugra”
For a third year in a row at the IT Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk, an International conference on information security “Infoforum-Yugra” takes place with the participation of the BRICS, SCO and CSTO countries.
The organizers of one of key events of the forum are the Government of Yugra and the National forum of information security “Infoforum” with support of a number of ministries and departments of Russia.
Within the conference, a plenary meeting, a strategic session “Information Security and Development of Digital Economy”, a panel discussion “Safe city. Efficiency of implementation of smart information and analytical systems”, and a meeting of the International expert club on information security “Yugra club” will take place. The events will be held under the motto “BRICS, SCO, and CSTO countries: the world of cyberthreats and cooperation in the field of information security”.
One of the main questions of the “Infoforum – Yugra” conferences are new technologies on the market of information security; cyber-attacks as an element of political pressure, counteraction measures; information security in public sector and the bank sphere; sovereign Internet – pros and cons.
The discussion panels will bring together a representative pool of experts of the industry of information security from Russia, the People's Republic of China, India, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Malaysia, Vietnam, Mongolia and other countries. This year, “Infoforum-Yugra” is going to be attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on security and anti-corruption Ernest Valeev; a special representative of the president of Russia on international cooperation in the field of information security Andrey Krutskikh; the chairman of the Association of cloud security of China (author of the Chinese “great firewall”) Fang Binxing; chairman of the board of directors of the Agency of cyber security of Malaysia, General Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed, deputy CEO of the Service of information security of the Ministry of Information and Communication of Vietnam Luu Minh Tri, and other prominent specialists.
Within the IT Forum, there will be an awarding session for contribution to the development of professional communications in the field of the international information security (the award was founded in 2018 by Infoforum together with the Government of Yugra).
The conference will be closed with the signing of international agreements and adoption of the final resolution.
